Depending on what neighborhood you find yourself in, you should be able to find a nice gelato or ice-cream shop that will cater to your needs. Located on Avenida Mistral, just two blocks off of Plaza Espanya, is the lovely little gelato shop, Gelatomania. Since 1984, these Italian crafters have been making gelato, sorbet, and other desserts out of the freshest ingredients, and you can taste the love. They offer a wide range of flavors from a classic limón to local favorites like Crema Catalana, and everything in between. They also cater to nearly every possible allergen their clients might have.

Not only do they have mostly gluten-free gelato (except those few flavors with cookies in them), but they also offer sugar free, lactose free, and vegan options. Because everything is made in house, the owner is more than happy to help you out with any questions you might have about her products. I can personally attest to the deliciousness of the panna cotta topped with a fresh berry puree, and a gluten-free cone with a scoop of the tart yogurt and another of the strawberry gelato, all of which are gluten-free of course. A GF cone with two scoops will cost you 3.00 euro, and the panna cotta about 4.00 euro. Unfortunately, neither the cannoli nor the tiramisu are free of gluten, but heck, there are plenty of other options!
